We regularly eat this pizza as they have the best vegetarian only pizzas. Flavours are amazing and I don’t feel bloated or unhealthy afterwards. Even my 7 year old carnivore adores the vindaloo and requests this over a regular meaty pizza. You need to try it for yourself at least once. Do not be turned off by the dated interior!!

My friends and I often play a game, usually at dinner parties after many glasses of wine. Goes like this – you are on death row, on the day before your execution, and you are allowed to order whatever you want for your final meal on earth. What would it be??? Well, needless to say there are hours of crazy answers to this, and my friends keep changing their minds, but my answer always remains the same - the Mexicana pizza from Nostralis. Never changes - always perfect. NOTHING beats this humble but delicious meal. NOTHING!!!!!

What a gem!! We had stumbled across this place through a recommendation from a work colleague who was raving on about the pizza, knowing that i am an expert, i had always been very fixed with the parlors that I frequently go to (mind you he didn’t mention the vegetarian part).We walked in and noticed a very modest, blast from the past decor which really reminded me of growing up in Melbourne. As i gazed to the menu i was about to step out, for i am a carnivore. My spouse pointed out the pumpkin and the artichoke and seeing the enthusiasm on her face we ordered and sat down. Our pies came and there was literally a party of flavors dancing around on my palate like it was New Years Eve. It does not leave you bloated or starving, it was just perfect. Service was intimate as it is a small place. I am now converted. Thank you Nostralis!!!

When visiting Melbourne I got to take my family here. Quite surprised with the quality of food and was impressed with the personal homely service. We had the pumpkin and eggplant pizza (and another one I can't remember). Garlic bread was good too. Definitely recommended even if you're not vegetarian. Also they have soy and veg rennet cheese. Cost about $70 between 7-8 of us. The owner even said he sends pizzas on overnight mail to Sydney!

Probably the best vegetarian pizza in the world. We normally get the special and the mushroom, then sit over in the park watching the ducks and geese swim in the pond, great on a warm summer evening. The only pizza I've ever eaten that didn't make me feel fat and bloated. Simply amazing!

I first came to this pizza shop about 30 years ago, I left Melbourne, I now have been back in Melbourne now for 4 years and I drove past one day and there it was, so I went in on a Friday night and it was still the same inside and the pizza’s were the as I remembered them, bloody fantastic, A++++++ keep up the good work.

The pizza was tasty and healthy - the wholemeal bases are very nice and vegies fresh. Would recommend for all pizza lovers - not just the vegetarians.

Recently I visited Melbourne and as I am a vegetarian, search for any restaurants that would cater for me. I located Nostralis and on entry to the store had to some how choose between 17 types of vegetarian pizza’s. Normally you are lucky to have one vegetarian pizza option, but 17 made my eyes light up! Not only vegetarian pizza, but pizza’s with chick peas and bartolli beans just to name a few of the different ingredients. My favorite had to be the Vindaloo (look at the ingredients on the menu page) which I had doubts about but the banana and curry paste goes together like a treat. For anybody (including vegetarians) this is the place to go to get the best tasting and freshest pizza with the most friendliest service in Australia. 10 out of 10.
